I did this tonight. In the shower. After I cried about my ex-boyfriend. Five months later. And then I talked to myself out loud. Remembering everything. And then I got over it. And I did the dishes. And filled the Brita. And now I’m writing a cover letter. For a position that sounds pretty neat. It could put me in front of PEOPLE again. Remember PEOPLE? People. Everyday. There’s tons of them. And Oprah’s on. Even though I said I hated her after the Hermes Debacle (which I still concur was RIDICULOUS), I watch her because she’s charismatic. And I lit a candle. And the AC’s going. And I had text messages and a voicemail when I remembered I had a phone. I have friends. And I’m feeling pretty fit and trim and healthy. And I think I’ll sleep okay tonight. Because I always sleep okay after a good cry. And the anxiety will wain. An I will dream. And tomorrow is Pilates, which feels so good now that I’m over the I Hate It hump. And then Wednesday is free tequila. And then Thursday’s that meeting and Friday I don’t work and it looks like I’ll go to the beach by myself and continue reading my book. And then I get paid this weekend. And then it’s August. Then I get to see Dad for his bday. Then Denver. Then Thanksgiving, that’s my favorite. Then Christmas, which is okay too. Then 2010, which will, by the grace of the fucking universe, be better than this.
